Bellway strengthens North West sales team

Bellway North West has strengthened its sales team within the recently formed division with the appointment of Derek Blank as sales and marketing director. Based at the company’s head office in Liverpool, Derek will head up an established team of 35 and take responsibility for driving and managing sales at Bellway’s 27 developments across the North West.

Having worked for Bellway for more than 20 years, previously as finance director, Derek remains passionate about the industry and brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

Derek’s appointment comes at an exciting time following the creation of a larger, stronger division for the whole of the North West region, and under his direction, the sales team will be tasked with helping potential new homebuyers find their dream Bellway home.

With an accountancy background and the future in mind, Derek also aims to positively assist with achieving the group’s budget sales for 2008/09 and 2009/10.

Commenting on his appointment, Derek says: “I am really looking forward to cementing myself in the role of sales and marketing director and look forward to the many challenges ahead.

“My appointment comes at an important time for the company, and I hope to make my contribution by encouraging my team to have a high level of confidence in the developments across the North West and ultimately generate sales,” concludes Derek.

Derek, originally from Hull but now living in Whitefield, Manchester, enjoys watching football away from work.
