New Homes industry expert and Yorkshire resident, Carolyn Rushbrook is offering the region’s house hunters an insight to what the latest property market ‘stats and facts’ will mean for them.

The latest figures from the Halifax show a rise in the price of UK homes by 1.9% in January compared to December. Halifax reports that the Yorkshire and Humber region has a house price standard of £123,100 compared to the UK average house price of £163,966.

The stimulus offered by interest rate cuts coupled with incentives, assistance packages, confidence insurances and more affordable housing will all aid purchasers in their decision to move up or onto the property ladder.

“The advice I can offer househunters in the Yorkshire region would be; 1. Take confidence in your purchase – a property is still a good long-term investment and 2. Shop around – make sure the deal suits your needs right now.”
