FindaProperty.com partners with Google
FindaProperty.com, a leading UK property website with over 2.7 million visitors per month, has partnered with Google on their launch of Street View, the most innovative form of street-level imagery available in the UK. Street View is a new feature for Google Maps that enables users to view and navigate 360 degree street-level imagery of the UK's cities, towns and regions.By clicking on the ‘Street View’ button on FindaProperty.com maps, users can check out the area surrounding the property that interests them before physically visiting it, saving time on properties that don’t fit location requirements. To use Street View on FindaProperty.com and access the images of flats and houses, users just need to select the “Show on Map” button on the right-hand side of the property description and then click on the "Street View" tab which appears on the FindaProperty.com map pop-up page.
Chris Boorman, Head of Product Development for FindaProperty.com, comments: “We are delighted to be partnered with Google for this launch. Street View takes FindaProperty.com to new heights, allowing its visitors to visually explore and navigate a neighborhood through panoramic street-level photographs.
“It's an amazing tool that will allow our users to see a property and its surroundings and help them get a real feel for the area without having to physically be there. For those who are searching for a new place to call ‘home’, the search just got easier!”
Chris added: “We believe that Street View is set to become part of everyday life in a very short space of time, and FindaProperty.com is at the forefront of this development, providing further support to our member agents and giving them access to new and emerging technology.”
The launch of Street View on the site will expose FindaProperty.com to an even wider audience and provide a new dimension to the users’ experience. From the 19th of March, Street View will be available on FindaProperty.com properties located in major UK towns and cities including London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, York, Newcastle, Southampton, Bristol, Swansea and Glasgow.
Other UK areas are expected to go live at a later date.
