Daffodils for all Gladedale visitors

9th April 2009 Print
Daffodils for all Gladedale visitors Gladedale is giving a Marie Curie Cancer Care Daffodil to each homebuyer visiting local developments across North East England during April this year. With over 20 developments across the region, the leading housebuilder will donate £1 to The Great Daffodil Appeal for each visitor.

The Great Daffodil Appeal is Marie Curie Cancer Care’s biggest fundraising event which takes place throughout March and April each year. They ask people to make a donation in return for a Daffodil badge and wear it to show their support for Marie Curie Nurses.

This year Marie Curie Cancer Care aims to raise £5 million and Gladedale’s donation will help the appeal to provide nursing care to patients with cancer and other terminal illnesses in their own homes or in one of its hospices.

Richard Jones, Sales Director for Gladedale in North East England, said: “I urge potential buyers to visit our sites across North East England and pick up their Daffodil for the Great Appeal from Marie Curie Cancer Care.

“The more visitors we have the more money we can donate to this important charity which provides free of charge services to patients and their families throughout the UK.”
