A spring boost for Scottish homebuyers

Spring home buyers are set to get a welcome boost thanks to a new scheme from Taylor Wimpey designed to save them time and money. The ‘Ask the Experts’ initiative, which is available on George Wimpey and Bryant Homes developments across Scotland, offers a range of features tailored to individual circumstances.

And our experts will be available on-site between 10am-5.30pm on Saturday 16 May, 2009 at developments in Bonnyrigg, Dalkeith, Dunfermline and Stirling to help buyers get on the move to their new dream home.

First time buyers will have their stamp duty paid up to 1%, receive a free mortgage broker service, free removals service and get a competitive mortgage quote within just 72 hours. For those with a house to sell, Taylor Wimpey will also provide a fast valuation on their current property, market their existing home, pay estate agents fees, provide help with legal fees and take care of their Home Report. For customers reserving this weekend, there’s an additional bonus of £1,000 holiday vouchers* on legal completion of their property.

Taylor Wimpey’s money-saving initiative is being launched at a time when buyers are increasingly concerned about the cost of buying and selling a home. Recent reports show that the cost of moving home has soared by almost £2,000 in the last five years.
