A running success for Midas Homes

Some of Midas Homes’ Land and Development team recently ran the Bristol 10k Business Challenge Race to raise money for CLIC.

Russell Baldwinson, Andrew Rowe and Nick Hodgson from the Newton-Abbot based housebuilding company, along with ex-colleague John Cheffings, recently ran the Bristol 10k Business Challenge Race, which was sponsored by Clarke Willmott Solicitors and took place at Bristol Harbourside.

The team raised over £300 for the charity and were promised by Midas Homes that they would be sponsored more if they completed the race together in less than four hours.

Andrew Rowe, Midas Homes’ Strategic Land and Planning Manager said:

“Fortunately we managed to smash the target and the four of us ran the race in under three and a quarter hours – ranging from 45 to 52 minutes. We did do a lot of training and we’re now looking to enter a few more competitions!

“We’re delighted to have raised money for CLIC, which is a really worthwhile charity that cares for children and young people with cancer.”
