A trio of awards for Gladedale site mangers Gladedale is celebrating the success of three of its site managers after Chris Forster, David Armstrong and Paul Aitkin were each presented with the top accolade of Pride in the Job Award 2009, by the National House Building Council (NHBC).

Each year the NHBC awards recognise the UK’s top site managers as a means of raising standards in the housebuilding industry and ensuring that homes are built to an exceptional standard.

Site manager, Chris Forster has worked with Gladedale for four years and this prestigious award recognises his outstanding work at Saxon Park in Peterlee, where he has worked closely with his team for the last year.

David Armstrong was awarded for his work at Braidwood Mews in Stanley, where he has been working with his team of 15 for the past year. Dave has been working for Gladedale for five and a half years.

For the second year in a row site manager Paul Aitken has picked up the award for his outstanding work at The Bakers in North Fenham. Paul has been working with his large team at The Bakers for the last two years and has been with the company for over five years.

The Gladedale employees were selected from site managers across the UK and were commended for their commitment to housebuilding practices including technical skill, quality workmanship, customer service and site safety.

Frank Lincoln, Construction Director of Gladedale in North East of England, said: “This is a true testament to the great team performance, working practices and management skills displayed at our developments. We are all extremely proud of David, Chris, Paul and their teams and congratulate them all on their great success.”
