New homeowners are on cloud nine

Matt Doyle and his partner Helen have double cause for celebration after the couple marked moving into their brand new home with a special prize.

Matt, a graphic designer and Helen, a physio, both 23, from Bracknell, will be taking to the skies in the brand new Redrow Homes hot air balloon after winning a photography competition to snap the balloon in all its glory.

After capturing the balloon at Jennett's Park in Bracknell, where the couple have just moved, they will now enjoy a flight, followed by dinner and a night in a luxury hotel.

Matt said: “We’ve always wanted to go up in a hot air balloon but have never had the opportunity. We’re really looking forward to it. After moving into our new home it has come at a great time.”

The competition was organised by award winning developer Redrow and balloon operators Lindstrand after the balloon went on a ‘Round Britain’ tour taking the balloon to 10 different Redrow developments in Wrexham, Chorley, Lanark, Dunfermline, Selby, Birmingham, Caerphilly, Bracknell, Thatcham and Plymouth.

Matt and Helen will take their flight when it is at the Basingstoke Balloon Festival from 31st July - 2nd August.
