Sales off to a flying start at Horton Park

30th July 2009 Print
Sales off to a flying start at Horton Park Eager househunters have been out in force at Barratt North East’s exciting new Horton Park development in Blyth since the first homes were released for sale recently.

Sales adviser Andrew Somerville has taken four reservations in three weeks and has had to open a register to keep pace with the high level of inquiries for future plot releases.

A sales centre is now open at the development, off Chase Farm Drive, and the first release features some of the housebuilder’s most popular 3 and 4-bedroom family homes at prices from £169,995.

“This is our first development in Blyth for several years and we anticipated there would be a positive response, but interest has definitely exceeded our expectations,” said sales manager Steve Mariner.

“There’s clearly a demand for home ownership in a place which combines great value with a great location.

“People are realising that now could be a very good time to buy, with lower prices and mortgage rates. In addition, buyers could take advantage of our free Agency Selling service if they have a property to sell.

“We’re building homes from our award-winning Premier Collection, which represent excellent value for money and have proved popular with buyers around the region.”

Homes released include the best-selling ‘Ripon’ design, which blends traditional exterior style with a versatile interior layout to suit modern living.

This 4-bedroom detached house incorporates an integral garage yet still manages to provide a spacious fitted breakfasting kitchen, complete with oven, hob and extractor hood. There is a living room, dining room with French windows into the garden, utility room, cloakroom, and an en suite to the main bedroom.

The Ripon is priced from £199,995.

Also released is the ‘Derwent’ 3-bedroom detached home, priced from £169,995. This design has a living room and separate dining area, fully-fitted kitchen with oven, hob and hood, and adjacent utility room and cloakroom. The main bedroom has an en suite and dressing area, and there is a second double bedroom and third single, plus family bathroom.

Horton Park is in an excellent location next to Asda, which is easy for commuting and within close reach of a range of amenities.

The sales centre is open from 10.00am to 5.00pm, Thursday to Monday. For further information, visit barratthomes.co.uk.
