Sovereign adds the personal touch to home buying

Comprising the recently launched Home Protect scheme and the company’s latest offering, Refer a Friend, Sovereign’s new incentives give buyers extra comfort and added peace of mind when making one of the most important buying decisions of their lives.
Colin McLachlan, joint managing director of Sovereign House Developments, comments: “New Homes Week is a great way to highlight the help and security housebuilders can provide during one of the most important buying decisions of someone’s life. Our two latest incentives allow us to personalise our buying process, making the emphasis on the buyer rather than the property itself.
“We have always believed that the standard of our homes truly speaks for itself. Therefore, rather than go down the road of price cutting our product, we have focused in on our buyers’ needs and expectations in the current market by introducing Home Protect, which provides security during difficult economic conditions.”
The Home Protect plan, introduced by the company in conjunction with financial advisors Home Insure, includes accident, sickness and unemployment insurance cover, providing purchasers with a free insurance policy to protect them financially. The policy will cover buyers’ outgoings, including mortgage payments, utility bills and community charges, for up to two years in the event that an accident, sickness or unemployment prevents them from earning.
Offering the ideal incentive for friends to become good neighbours, is Sovereign’s Refer a Friend. The scheme enables existing residents and new buyers who recommend the company to receive a generous token of thanks to the value of £1,000, if the referral goes on to buy a home.
Colin adds: “Our Refer a Friend initiative is in effect a loyalty scheme for our existing customers. It’s our way of showing our appreciation for recommending Sovereign to friends, family or colleagues, as in our book there’s no better testament to the quality of your product than a personal referral.”
