New homes offer value for money in Yorkshire

New homes offer value for money in Yorkshire Housebuilders around the region will be highlighting the many benefits of newly built properties this month to mark the industry’s annual New Homes Week.

And family-owned, award-winning housebuilder, Miller Homes, says there are some very good reasons why new build continues to be the only option for many homeowners.

According to Miller, who has developments throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the East Midlands, new homes offer buyers real value for money. The latest innovations in design mean they are extremely energy efficient and low maintenance. They all include standard features that may be classed as luxuries in the second-hand market such as stylish fitted kitchens, double glazing and en suite facilities.

New home owners also often benefit from being able to save money whilst, at the same time, playing a part in saving the environment. New homes are built to the latest environmental standards, they are six times more energy efficient, and generate over 60 per cent less Co2 emissions than older-style homes. This is the equivalent of driving 10,000 miles less a year per household. The improved energy efficiency can also reduce utility bills by more than £500 a year.

These are just some of the issues being highlighted between September 12th and 20th during New Homes Week which is run by the New Homes Marketing Board and backed by the Home Builders Federation.

Carolyn Rushbrook, sales director for Miller Homes Yorkshire commented: “New homes haven’t been this affordable for years, but with supply increasingly limited, there are clear concerns about demand outstripping supply meaning prices may well begin to rise in the near future.

“However, visitors to our sales centres across the region during New Homes Week will be able to get some great deals on some fabulous properties. Although I would strongly urge anyone wanting to buy a home to visit this week as the deals won’t be around forever!”

The housebuilder currently has a broad selection of properties available at developments across the region from stylish starter homes to executive, detached houses. Properties range from one bedroom apartments priced from only £75,000 to five bedroom detached homes priced from £335,000. Miller also offers a range of financial assistance schemes to help with any budget or circumstances.

The showhomes and sales centres are open Thursday to Monday 10.30 – 5.30pm, alternatively visit millerhomes.co.uk for more details.
