Max is numero uno at Scholars Gate

17th January 2008 Print
Max is numero uno at Scholars Gate Andy and Steph Done have recently moved onto Barratt Chester’s Scholars Gate development in Leasowe. As first-time buyers they took advantage of all Barratt’s first-time buyer options such as free carpets and white goods, plus having their five percent deposit paid.

Then they became the first couple to move onto the development - flat number one of course - and shortly afterwards their son Max was born, making him the first baby at Scholars Gate.

The young couple and baby have now settled into their luxury two-bedroom Falkirk apartment. Andy says that without Barratt’s help getting onto the property ladder would have been difficult: “I didn’t really think we could afford a place of our own and it was only when I drove past the site and saw the first-time buyer deals advertised that I thought we could give it a go,” he says.

Also Steph has nothing but praise for the Barratt sales negotiator – Joanne Brogan -who dealt with their purchase: “Joanne was a huge help and nothing was too much trouble. She even came and visited us when we had the baby and brought a present.”

For a limited period, Barratt Chester are offering fast movers a Dream Start at Scholars Gate. Under the scheme, it’s possible to own 100 per-cent of your property for just 75 per-cent of the cost. You don’t need to pay the 25 per-cent back for ten years or until you sell the house, whichever comes soonest.

Beautiful two-bedroom apartments are on release now from £107,050 at the development while three-bedroom three-storey homes with detached garages are on the market at £193,800.

The sales office is now open seven days a week between 10am and 5pm.
