The scheme is available for first time buyers and key workers and means purchasers pay just 75 percent of the purchase price of their property, with no deposit required, for example, taking the price of the stunning four bedroom Heversham home from £229,950 to just £172,500.

The deferred amount is then paid back as 25 per cent of the property’s open market value, either within ten years of purchase or at the time of re-sale if this is earlier than ten years.
