Fun for all the family at Redrow in the Wirral

31st March 2008 Print
The launch of the stunning new show homes at Redrow’s Woodlands Grange in Bromborough looks set to be magic – with a whole host of family entertainment.

Situated off New Chester Road, the venture is just a stone’s throw away from the 19th century garden village of Port Sunlight and all of the homes have been designed with this in mind.

Stilt walkers, clowns, balloon modellers and magicians will mingle with visitors to the development on Sunday, 6 April; while a ‘Rat Pack’ style singer will be crooning in the marquee, where two flair cocktail artists will be showing off their skills and mixing some delightful drinks.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (North West) says: “Woodlands Grange is a truly stunning development with plenty of character so we wanted to do something really special for the show home launch.

“It is already proving extremely popular and we have had plenty of interest from local people so we are expecting a big turn out.”

The fun will start at Woodlands Grange at 12noon and the entertainment will run until 4pm.

Three striking show homes will be opening their doors and giving prospective buyers a taste of the wide variety of properties that are on offer.

The three-bedroom Elworth, which is available from £189,000, features an en-suite, as well as a downstairs cloak room and offers spacious living.

The Farnell, priced from £215,000 is also a three-bedroom property but, in a modern twist on the traditional family home, it features a sumptuous master bedroom and en-suite set in the roof space of the property. It also comes with a detached single garage.

Finally there is the four-bedroom Hambledon, with detached single garage, which is currently available from £255,000. This property also has a ‘ready-made loft conversion’ and features an open plan kitchen/dining area and a utility area, as well as an en-suite bathroom and downstairs cloakroom.

Patsy added: “All of these properties have been professionally decorated, furnished and accessorised, to show off their potential to prospective buyers.

“When searching for a new home being able to see a property ‘in the flesh’ can really help you to make that all important decision, so don’t miss out on the chance to view these fabulous homes and to have some fun in the process.”

Woodlands Grange will eventually comprise 192 properties, featuring a mixture of semi, detached and mews houses, as well as a selection of apartments, and all have been designed to complement the distinctive Victorian architecture of nearby Port Sunlight.
The development opens out into a square, creating a focal point at the entrance, which will eventually lead to a long tree-lined avenue and the properties are arranged in small crescents. It will incorporate several areas of open space and there is open woodland to the rear.

Current prices at Woodlands Grange start at £129,950 for a two-bedroom apartment, while three-bedroom properties are available from £170,000.

It is ideally located for the M53 giving easy access to the motorway network. There are also good links to Liverpool from the nearby Bromborough Rake train station, making it ideal for commuters.

And Woodlands Grange is just minutes from Bromborough village, which has everything to cater for everyday needs, and is close to Brotherton Park and the delightful Dibbinsdale Reserve.
