Part-ex success

23rd June 2008 Print
Part-ex success In May a number of people, already living on Barratt Chester's development The Pavilions, St Helens, have taken advantage of Barratt's part exchange scheme. And one of them is Francesca Bigwood who has progressed up the property ladder, moving from a Palmerston starter home to a three-storey Kentmere design property just three doors apart. Using Barratt Chester's fantastic Part Exchange Scheme, Francesca completed the whole deal within four weeks.

The property was actually bought by Francesca's mum, Carmela as an investment: "It enables my daughter to save for a home of her own and her new home is big enough for her to have a house-mate who can help with the bills."

Carmela says that Barratt have been brilliant with both house purchases and have provided carpets, curtains and light fittings in the latest property as well as landscaping the garden: "Shirley, the sales negotiator on site, is now on the friends and family list on my phone, she's been so helpful."

There are just four Kentmere properties remaining on this development. These executive-style properties all have upgraded specifications including downlights to the hall, kitchen, living room and bathrooms; ceramic floor tiles in the bathroom, cloakroom and kitchen; a heated towel rail in the bathroom; a stainless steel chimney-type cooker extractor; cabinet mounted bathroom suites incorporating a concealed WC cistern; satin steel sockets and switches; stainless steel latch door furniture; laminated flooring to the hall and living room; carpets in the bedrooms and chrome plated stairs hand brackets. All this as well as a feature L-shaped lounge; two en-suite bathrooms and an integral garage.

You certainly get good value for your money as Kentmere properties are currently priced at £192,500. And for a limited period, Barratt will pay your five per-cent deposit.
