Flying the flag for Bellway Two pupils from Barlows Primary School, in Fazakerley, have jointly won a design competition launched by leading regional housebuilder, Bellway North West. Neve Clark, aged six from Fazakerley, and Sophie Moore, also aged six and from Aintree, were chosen by Bellway for their stunning flag designs, which showed creativity, colour and contemporary style.

The prize for Neve and Sophie includes vouchers and art sets, as well as having their winning flags erected at Bellway’s Canterbury Gardens development on Barlows Lane, along side the company’s corporate flag.

Bellway sales manager, Jenny Clancy, comments: “We tasked the whole of Barlows Primary School with designing a new Bellway flag for Canterbury Gardens. With hundreds of entries, all of a very high standard, we had a very tough job deciding the winning flag.

“In the end, we could not decide between two flag designs, and so we are delighted to congratulate our joint winners, Neve and Sophie. Congratulations girls – we hope you enjoy seeing your Bellway flags flying at Canterbury Gardens and make good use of your vouchers and art sets,” concluded Jenny.

One runner up was also chosen by Bellway, nine year old Adam Carr from Fazakerley, who wins some vouchers and an art set.

Jan Taylor, head teacher at Barlows Primary School, comments: “We are incredibly proud of Neve, Sophie and Adam, who have each shown enthusiasm and excitement for the Bellway flag competition. They are deserving winners and runner ups, each showing creative flair in their flag designs.”

The flags are now flying proudly at Canterbury Gardens, which is conveniently situated close to junction 6 of the M57, offering easy access to all regions of Merseyside and the North West.

Canterbury Gardens offers a range of three, four and five bedroom properties. Prices start from £154,995. For further information log on to Bellway.co.uk.
