Hillcrest's Hartford is in demand

Statistics from leading property search portal Right Move show that nearly 5,000 house hunters have used the site specifically to search for property in Hartford over the last month.
The statistic is supported by luxury developers Hillcrest Homes who sold over a third of the thirty six properties currently being created at Littledales Park, Chester Road, off plan and before any signage was erected.
According to Hillcrest Homes’ MD, Mike Kennedy, Hartford has everything property purchasers are looking for. He says; “We receive about 20 calls a week from house hunters specifically looking to move to Hartford. The majority of enquiries are from people who already live in the vicinity, such as Winsford, Northwich and Middlewich but who want to relocate to the village.
“Hartford has it all; good schools, convenient location, a strong sense of community and a lovely leafy charm. We are complementing this combination with a high standard of characterful and energy efficient new homes,” he concludes.
Hillcrest Homes started construction of the five acre site late last year and plans to create thirty six properties, comprising two bedroom apartments, five bedroom semi detached homes and four, five and six bedroom detached homes priced from £225,000 to £675,000. In addition, the development will see historic Sandiway Cottage restored to its former glory and returned to use as a family home once more.
Hillcrest’s development also includes affordable housing aimed at providing much needed accommodation for the area’s key workers.
Another rapidly increasing trend is also being addressed by Hillcrest’s development; the demand for more environmentally-friendly homes. Littledales Park will be Hillcrest’s first carbon neutral development. Working with leading organisation The CarbonNeutral Company, Hillcrest has calculated the amount of CO2 that will be emitted during the creation of the development and in addition to looking at ways of reducing this, such as using local suppliers and reducing waste, has invested in projects in the UK and abroad which save 1 tonne of CO2 for every tonne the construction generates.
