New home deals - Too good to be true?

The prestigious private housebuilder Antler Homes is reducing prices by more than 10 per cent on just two homes at its Gerard's Gate development in Wistaston until the end of October, which means purchasers can buy a four and five bedroom detached family home at the development for under £400,000.

From Thursday, October 16, to Sunday, October 26 2008, plot 8 will be reduced from £414,950 to £373,500 and plot 9 will be reduced from £444,950 to £399,950 - but this is a first come, first served limited offer, and when the homes are sold the offer will be over.

Nicola Dean, Sales and Marketing Director for Antler Homes, says: "This is a one-off discount for a limited period of time only. Buyers who are proceedable can buy plot 8 and save a massive £41,450, or they can save £45,000 on the purchase price of plot 9 - which works out at a saving of 10 per cent. This is a one-off deal, which is only available until the end of October and is only available on two plots at the development, so I would urge anyone who is interested in buying to visit now to avoid disappointment. Christmas occupation is also available for people who reserve before the end of the month."
