Low prices on new homes in Warrington

9th April 2009 Print
Low prices on new homes in Warrington Housebuilder of the Year, Miller Homes, has announced the release of new homes at their popular Saxon Park development in Warrington. And two come with news of very special deals.

The 5-bedroom ‘Fielding’ home has a ‘MiPrice’ of just £214,950 - a saving £35,000. As well as the price reduction, MiPrice includes £500 towards Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance, to give home makers peace of mind in their new dream home.

With double bay windows, tall end gable, built in porch and dormer window, the ‘Fielding’ is an impressive family home offering great kerb-appeal. Entering the angled hallway, designed to give privacy to the home the layout of the home unfolds.

To the right is the glamorous lounge with a sweeping bay window. This room has the elegant proportions of the best Edwardian style. To the rear of the home is the cool and contemporary looking open plan kitchen/family room. This runs across the entire width of the property and made light and bright thanks to the French doors and picture window that over looks the rear garden. Ideal for entertaining or spending time with family or friends.

The first floor offers 4 bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom has the benefit of both a large bay window and an en-suite. The fifth bedroom is on the top floor. It is unusually generous in size and has an en-suite shower room and so could make the perfect guest suite or teenager pad.

The second new release is the 3-bedroom ‘Kitchener’ house design. This family home offers a spacious lounge and a separate light filled dining room that has French doors which add light and ambiance and are great for popping in and out of the garden on warm summer days. There is also a cleaver archway division that marks the threshold to the contemporary Kitchen, making this sociable space ideal for children watching whilst preparing a family meal. Upstairs the master bedroom has both built-in wardrobes and an en-suite shower room.

The ‘Kitchener’ is being offered with the MiWay option. Under this scheme, the buyer has to raise just £112,463 of the purchase price of £149,950. The remaining 25% is lent by Miller Homes and need only be repaid when the property is sold (at 25% of the house’s price) or after 10 years. Offered interest-free, this loan is not a split ownership option – the buyer owns 100% from day one. It allows a much greater choice within the mortgage market, effectively acting as a 25% deposit and opening up the best options.

Steve McElroy, Sales and Marketing Director for Miller Homes said: “The deal removes the issue of initial affordability for buyers. They can get lower mortgage rates and have no deposit to worry about. Affordability of mortgage payments is great at the moment, with interest rates at historically low levels. This deal allows everyone to take advantage of this by getting them over the affordability of the deposit.”
