Buyers in Chester get a helpful nudge Moving home has never been so easy with Lovell in Chester thanks to its latest scheme which allows buyers to own 100% of their new home but defer 25% of the cost.

First time buyers struggling to save for a deposit or secure a mortgage will be pleased to hear that the developer is currently offering shared equity on a number of brand new properties at Chester Point, a popular development in the regeneration area of Blacon, in Chester.

The scheme, which allows buyers to defer 25% of the purchase price for up to 10 years, is paving the way towards a cost effective move.

Available on selected plots, buyers opting to use shared equity can purchase a three-bedroom property from just £85,875.

Elaine Taylor, regional sales manager for Lovell North West, said: “This is a great option for buyers who may otherwise be unable to get on to the property ladder in the current climate. There’s no interest or rent to pay on the deferred 25% and they have up to 10 years to pay it back.

“The amount repayable is calculated as a percentage of the market value at the time of repayment, subject to terms and conditions. Repayments can be made at any time, giving buyers the option to pay more when they have the funds available.”

Chester Point has received a lot of interest from buyers and investors alike who are spotting its potential, thanks to its location in the heart of the £12 million regeneration of Blacon, the great homes available and the competitive prices.

Elaine continues: “Chester Point offers an exciting option when it comes to finding the ideal home in Chester. As an up and coming area, homebuyers can take pleasure in watching a remarkable transformation. What’s more for those who prefer to try before they buy, a brand new show home is now open for viewing.”

The Oakwood is being used to showcase the three-bedroom properties currently available at Chester Point. With its carefully chosen décor, it allows buyers to see first hand how the properties successfully lend themselves to 21st Century living.

Chester Point is situated on Treborth Road and is just two miles from Chester town centre, with its historic buildings, array of shops and wide choice of restaurants and bars. It is also near to the A548 Sealand Road, which allows easy access to a comprehensive motorway network.
