First time buyers get on the move in Hyde

First time buyers get on the move in Hyde If asked to describe the type of property a first time buyer could expect to buy the word ‘small’ would probably spring to mind.

But at Bryant Homes’ Oakfield Gardens development in Hyde buyers can bypass an apartment in favour of a larger three bedroom home by using a special scheme*.

HomeBuy Direct has been launched at the development to help first time buyers get on the property ladder with an interest free equity loan which is available for up to 30 percent of the value of the property, co-funded by the Homes and Communities Agency and Bryant Homes.

The scheme is aimed at helping purchasers with a household income of less than £60,000 afford the home they want and means that purchasers can snap up plot 69, a three bedroom Delamere townhouse from just £122,465.

Sam Williams, regional sales manager, comments: “The new HomeBuy Direct scheme is a great way for purchasers to afford their first home. We are finding that a growing number of young people, especially those with children, are choosing to invest in a larger home to begin with, saving them the cost and stress of moving house when they require more space later on.

“While buying a new home is exciting, it obviously brings with it financial pressures. Our HomeBuy Direct scheme will enable buyers to enjoy more property for their money. We can ease the stress of making that important first move by overcoming the hurdles of high mortgage costs and larger deposits, which we know are preventing many people from buying. It’s definitely worth visiting the marketing suite to see what Oakfield Gardens has to offer.”

The versatility of the three bedroom Delamere design will appeal to those who regularly have friends or family to stay. With accommodation spread over three floors, rooms, or even entire floors, can be adapted to suit each buyer’s needs. On the ground floor is a kitchen, reception room with French doors opening onto the garden and a cloakroom.

On the first floor are two bedrooms, one with a fitted wardrobe, and a family bathroom. The master bedroom benefits from en-suite facilities and a fitted wardrobe and is located on the second floor, offering a haven away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the house.

Oakfield Gardens is located off Talbot Road just outside the M60 Manchester ring road and central Manchester is only a short commute away from the development. The interlinking M67 is within easy reach of the development, putting Liverpool, Preston, Leeds and Sheffield all within an hour’s drive away. Hyde Central train station offers regular services to Manchester Piccadilly.

Currently available is a selection of three and four bedroom homes with prices starting at £171,950. For further information, visit bryant.co.uk.
