Part exchange seals the deal for local family

Matt, a 34 year old Graphic Designer, and Joanne, a 35 year old full time Mum, moved to Leicester 15 years ago to study at University. When they had their first child, Lauren, they bought a two- bedroom property in Syston which was ideal for their small family. Six years later and along comes baby Angus and they found that their existing home was no longer suitable for their growing family.
Matt says "When Angus was born we knew we would have to move. We put our old house up for sale but because of the current housing market we struggled to sell. We were getting increasingly worried that we'd be stuck in a two-bedroom home with two growing children, so when we heard about David Wilson's part exchange deal we decided to investigate."
The family wanted to remain in Syston so that six year old Lauren could continue with her schooling and upon visiting the development on Barkby Road, the family were drawn to the Hamberly style which is a three- bedroom, three storey townhouse.
The ground floor of this design benefits from a large combined living and dining room to the rear of the property which acts as the main living space, as well as a kitchen/diner and cloakroom. The first floor comprises two good size bedrooms plus the family bathroom whilst the second floor features a large master bedroom with en-suite facilities.
Joanne says "We were attracted to this style because of the large living room which is great for our family lifestyle and also the good size of the bedrooms which both Lauren and Angus can happily grow into."
Matt adds "We've never bought a new build property before but the fact that everything was brand new and ready to live in was a real draw as it meant we could move in and enjoy our new home with our daughter and newborn son without stressing about redecorating."
Philip Lacey, Sales Director for David Wilson says "The Chestnuts is an ideal family development offering a selection of flexible homes which are designed to accommodate the needs of a modern family lifestyle as perfectly demonstrated by Matt, Joanne, Lauren and Angus.
"The family also took advantage of our part-exchange deal which continues to prove popular with many homebuyers who are struggling to sell their existing property during the current housing market.
"There are a number of advantages of part-exchange- it considerably speeds up the buying process, eliminates a lot of the stress associated with buying a new home as it totally removes the chain, or the possibility of a broken chain, it's a guaranteed sale plus it wipes out all estate agent fees. We'll even arrange your HIP.
"But if part-exchange isn't for you, we have a number of alternative deals including three year price guarantee, mortgage subsidy or Movemaker scheme, so whatever your situation, we've got a package to suit you."
Matt concludes "If it wasn't for David Wilson's part-exchange deal, I'm sure we'd still be in our old home for at least another few years, but thankfully that isn't the case. With part-exchange we've had a simple, straight forward and relatively stress free move so I'd definitely recommend part-exchange and David Wilson to friends and family."
Situated off Barkby Road in the pleasant town of Syston, The Chestnuts offers homebuyers a selection of three-, four- and five- bedroom homes. Close to the local school, a park and wide open spaces, this development is ideally suited to those seeking a tranquil, family friendly environment.
