Taylor Wimpey joins the Race for Life

Hayley Loveday and Nicola Vernon, who are based at the George Wimpey and Bryant Homes regional head office in Leicester, will be on the start line at Donington Park at 7.30pm on Tuesday 7th July.
Hayley and Nicola are aiming to raise a minimum of £500 to complete the 5km course in support of Cancer Research UK. As an incentive to all runners on the evening Taylor Wimpey’s mascots, George Wimpey and Sandy Pit along with the Heart 106 Ground Patrol, will be handing out goody bags to those crossing the finishing line.
Among the goodies in the bag is a chocolate bar – four of which have a ticket for a well-earned spa break concealed in the wrapper!
Hayley Loveday, Marketing Assistant for Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, says: “We’re both very excited to be part of this amazing fundraising challenge, and have been working with Heart 106 to encourage women from across the region to sign up to their local event too.
“We really enjoy getting involved in local fundraising and community events, and with several George Wimpey and Bryant new homes developments open in Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire, this is a brilliant way for us to give something back to the areas within which we work.”
Women can still enter the Race for Life in Castle Donington by visiting raceforlife.org. Places are also still available at Heart’s Race for Life in Newark on Wednesday 15th July.
