Two reasons to visit Rectory Gardens

Situated on Main Street, Rectory Gardens is the latest development by David Wilson and is a prestigious collection of 28 bespoke David Wilson homes. Located in the quaint village of Sutton Bonington, the homes on offer are ideal for families and the showhomes aim to demonstrate the kind of home purchasers could find themselves living in if they buy there.
Philip Lacey, Sales Director at David Wilson comments “Homehunters now have two reasons to visit Rectory Gardens- to see the exceptional showhomes we have opened the doors too.
“The showhomes are in the style of a Taylor, which is a luxurious five- bedroom detached family home and a Tillotson which is a four- bedroom detached home, and are prime examples of the high quality homes that are now available to buy.”
Interior design company, Claude Hooper, decorated the interior of both homes. Designers Jenni Edmonds and Hayley Davies were in charge of the schemes.
Jenni Edmonds is the designer who decorated the Taylor showhome. She comments “As the Taylor is a family home we’ve designed it with that in mind and themed the children’s bedrooms accordingly. Bedroom three is Hawaiian for a little girl whilst bedroom four has a large map mural on the wall which would make an ideal bedroom for a young boy.
“The main colours used throughout the property are taupes, creams and duck egg blue with touches of green and silver mixed in. These are neutral colours but the blues, silvers and greens gives the theme a modern twist.
“I’ve tried to maintain a sophisticated feel throughout using elegant lighting and modern, classic furniture. The home has a definite glamorous feel, yet it remains a liveable space ideal for family life.”
Hayley Davies comments on the design of the Tillotson showhome “I wanted to create a glamorous yet comfortable house for a modern family. The overall scheme is mainly creams, golds, black with a touch of aqua.
“The master bedroom is particularly impressive. It has a high impact and the black colours give it a dramatic and glamorous look which is added to by the black gloss furniture.
“The lounge was kept quite spacious and using a flock wallpaper in a neutral colour gave the room impact but kept it comfortable living space.”
Philip adds “Claude Hooper has done a fantastic job decorating the showhomes and we’ve received nothing but positive feedback from customers impressed with the interior design.
“The purpose of showhomes are to showcase the type of home purchasers could find themselves living in and I think the Taylor and Tillotson are the perfect examples. Both are high quality, well built detached family homes that offer the ultimate space for a modern family lifestyle and essentially that is what Rectory Gardens aims to provide.”
People are invited to visit the stunning new showhomes during the sales office’s opening hours of 11am-6pm, Thursday to Monday.
