Save thousands on a new home in Leicestershire

24th June 2009 Print
Save thousands on a new home in Leicestershire First time buyers and key workers in Leicestershire can reap the benefits of a range of special incentives at Stamford Homes’ newest development. The recently launched Ashby Heights development in Coalville is offering a shared equity scheme which provides an affordable way of getting on the housing ladder.

Homebuy Direct allows customers to own 100 per cent of their new home, but pay just 70 per cent of the price.

In simple terms, the Government and Stamford Homes will each provide up to 15 per cent of the shared equity, with the balance being mortgageable through many major lenders – and with the possibility of no deposit to pay.

The scheme is currently available on Home 62, a three-bedroom semi detached home with garage – newly priced at £169,995.

However, Stamford Homes is offering an alternative package of benefits on this home (not available in conjunction with HBD) – which includes £1,000 towards legal fees, fitted carpets through and turf to rear garden.

The first new homes at Ashby Heights, which will boast a selection of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes, are due for completion this autumn.

The development itself is perfectly positioned close to the local primary school and town centre, and many of the new homes will enjoy extensive views across parkland and playing fields.

These will range in style from coach house apartments to trendy townhouses, terraced and detached homes. The mix offers something for everyone looking to move to a relaxed environment, where the designs will suit both traditional and more contemporary housing tastes.
