Excitement is building in Burton on Trent

6th June 2007 Print
Construction is now underway at Miller Homes’ latest development in Burton on Trent, which has been named “Abbeyfields”. The news means the developer, which recently scooped Building Magazine’s “Major Housebuilder of the Year” award, is expecting to release the first set of prices later this year.

A total of 59 homes are planned for the Shobnall Street development in the north of the town, with both apartments and townhouses on offer, providing househunters in the area with a versatile choice of new homes.

Plans and layouts for Abbeyfield’s properties are already available for interested parties to view at Miller Homes’ Hopwood development on Princess Way, Stretton, close to Burton Albion Football Club.

Karen Dent, sales director for Miller Homes, said: “We’re delighted to have our second scheme in Burton underway. Our Hopwood homes have proven really popular and later this year, Abbeyfields will offer househunters in the area something different. With a selection of three bedroom homes and contemporary apartments, our new scheme will be ideal for first time buyers, young couples, small families and downsizers alike.

“Miller Homes offers a complete customer care package which helps house buyers through the entire moving process and way beyond with after sales support. The build quality of our properties is renowned for being exceptional and customers even have the opportunity to choose their own finishes when buying off plan.”
