Rugeley show home is simply lovely

Determined to stage a launch event to remember, Persimmon Homes called on the help of the My Fair Lady cast from the Rugeley Musical Theatre Company, to unveil the professionally designed showhome at The Lindens development.

Persimmon Homes recently pledged its sponsorship support to the Rugeley Musical Theatre Company and donated £2,000 to help with the production of the My Fair Lady musical which is being staged at the Rose Theatre, Rugeley, between 17th - 20th October.

In return, cast members dressed as characters from My Fair Lady unveiled the three bedroom three storey Leicester showhome and in doing so, transformed The Lindens into typical Edwardian London.

However, the three bedroom three storey Leicester showhome is the real star of the development as Anita Williams, sales and marketing director for Persimmon Homes West Midlands explains: “We take the interior design of our showhomes extremely seriously and when we think we can have fun with a theme we go for it and the Leicester is no exception.

“To celebrate our sponsorship of the Rugeley Musical Theatre Company, we styled the showhome with a typical couple in mind following a night at the theatre and whilst not obvious straight away, the property features subtle touches, all of which relate to the stage.”

Dr Peter Burcher, chairman at the Rugeley Musical Theatre Company adds: “The showhome launch was a great way to celebrate our relationship with Persimmon and we were delighted to get involved!”

The Lindens on Armitage Road, comprises just 23 properties including one and two bedroom apartments and three bedroom three storey homes in a cul-de-sac setting. Nestling near the Trent and Mersey canal, The Lindens is within walking distance of Rugeley town centre which boasts a good selection of local amenities however a wider selection can also be found in Lichfield or Stafford, both a short drive away. Homes on release are currently priced from £140,000.

Properties at The Lindens are also being sold from Persimmon’s nearby Oasis development on Wolseley Road.
