Miller Homes launches Abbeyfields in Burton

The first set of prices are now available at the Abbeyfields development, which is one of two Miller Homes’ schemes currently underway in the attractive Derbyshire town.
Homes will range from £137,950 for a two bedroom mid terrace home to £214,950 for a three bedroom Staffordshire house with two car parking spaces. The stylish scheme is being built on the former site of the Re Cooke laser metal factory, which has been part of the town’s history for more than 70 years.
There are six initial homes available for sale in the first release with a total of 59 homes planned for the Shobnall Street development in all. Both one and two bedroom apartments and a selection of townhouses will be included in the housing mix.
The three bedroom townhouses have been designed to combine traditional features, such as decorative brickwork, with contemporary touches. Whilst apartments will be designed in a variety of styles designed to complement the area, all offering practical open plan living and high levels of specification.
Linda Androlia, sales director at Miller Homes, said: “We have experienced some great success building in Burton with our Hopwood development, so to acquire this second scheme was very pleasing. We feel that between Hopwood and Abbeyfields we are able to provide a wide variety of new home solutions for househunters in the region.
“Miller Homes are now well established in the area and have a strong reputation for building quality homes and providing exceptional customer service. We also provide a two year comprehensive Miller Homes’ after sales package and a full 10 year National House Builder Certificate warrant on all our properties.”
The apartments and houses at the development are ideally located for families, or for professionals looking for a home with good transport links to all corners of the Midlands.
