Countryside Properties floors the competition at Lock 38

Having separated from his wife at the beginning of the year, Phil Bagley (32) realised he needed to find somewhere quickly after moving out of the house he rented in Talke. While searching for a new home in the area, Phil's full time trade as a floor layer found him working on Countryside Properties' Lock 38, a stunning development comprising a collection of contemporary one and two bedroom apartments set alongside the Trent and Mersey Canal.
It was here that Phil had an epiphany and decided to buy his new home, where he knew he would find exactly what he was after.
Phil commented: "As a contractor that worked on Lock 38 I know more than anyone that Countryside Properties is very particular and want everything to be perfect, right down to the last detail, ensuring their homes are of the highest quality possible. I had thought about buying a second hand property and doing it up, but the affordability of Lock 38 meant I could buy a new build home and know that it's finished the way I would want. All I need to do is add my own personal touches."
The proud father of two-year-old Trinity Angel, Phil turned the second bedroom of his stylish new two bedroom apartment into a special ‘princess' themed bedroom for his daughter when she stays. Phil added: "Trinity loves it here which has also paid a big part in how pleased I am. Countryside Properties were sympathetic of my circumstances and made sure everything went through quickly and made me feel at home instantly, so I had somewhere that Trinity would feel safe and happy without the hassle of a lengthy buying process."
If all this wasn't enough for Phil to shout about, he also took advantage of the First Time Buyer Initiative available at Lock 38 whereby first time buyers contribute a minimum of 50% towards the full purchase price of their new home through an affordable mortgage, with English Partnerships contributing the rest by way of direct payment to the developer.
Andrew Robertson, Countryside Properties' regional sales director, commented: "At Countryside Properties we are proud to say that in the current market conditions demand is still high for quality housing and with the affordability of our properties, home buying is nothing to be afraid of."
With prices starting from £119,950 for a two bedroom apartment, interested parties are invited to pop down to the sales and marketing suite off Shelton New Road in Cliffe Vale. Alternatively visit Lock38.co.uk for more information.
