Redrow drives hospice forward with golf buggy donation Always striving to support the communities in which they build, Redrow Homes has donated a £4,000 golf buggy for auction by a Stoke-on-Trent hospice.

The Donna Louise Trust Fund provides respite care for children with life threatening conditions at the Treetops hospice in Trenton and in their homes. With annual running costs of £2million, the charity has to obtain 90 per cent of its funds from public donations.

Sylvia Pearl, The Donna Louise Trust Fundraising Manager, said: "We're extremely grateful to Redrow for their kind contribution and we will auction the buggy at one of our charity events. Our trust cares for over 160 children between the ages of 0-19 so we rely heavily on donations."

The buggy was originally used to transport visitors around Redrow's leafy 122 acre St Edwards Park development in Cheddleton, near Leek.

But with successful sales taking availability down to just a handful of properties, the buggy is no longer needed.

Prices at St Edwards Park start from just £109,995 for a one-bedroom apartment with single parking space. Also available are two-bedroom houses from £147,950 and three-bedroom houses from £206,950.

Boasting lush green surroundings and fabulous views over rolling countryside, the development has fast become one of Staffordshire's most desirable addresses. It features a mix of new-build and refurbished properties on the site of the former St Edward's Hospital.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands) said: "The work they do at the Donna Louise Trust is truly remarkable, so after supporting them in the past we're delighted to provide further help."

Redrow's latest charity donation is in addition to the work done nationally and locally by the award winning house builder's own charitable trust, The Redrow Foundation.

Established to celebrate Redrow's 50,000th legal completion, a cash contribution is now made to the Redrow Foundation for every home sold in England, Scotland and Wales, including those at developments like St Edwards Park.

To date the Redrow Foundation has pledged over £400,000 of support to charities all over the UK.

To find out more about the chance to snap up one of the last few homes at St Edward's Park visit the development on Leek Road, Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm, or log onto Redrow.co.uk.
