Nursery's flying visit to Stafford show home A group of eight youngsters from Greenhall Nursery School in Stafford have been treated to a VIP tour of Persimmon's Batman-themed Chichester showhome at The Crossings. Greenhall Nursery, which caters exclusively for less-abled children aged between two and five years old, is currently working on a home project. In need of expert advice on the industry, teacher, Simon Bentley, contacted Persimmon and the housebuilder was determined to help out.

Simon commented: "We have worked closely with Persimmon for a number of years and we are extremely grateful for their ongoing support. As always, the children had a fantastic time at the development in fact, they can't stop talking about it! We have since focused many of our lessons around the visit to the showhome and this has really helped them develop and improve their recognition and language skills."

Yvette Tyler, sales adviser at The Crossings, added: "We were delighted to welcome the children to tour the showhome and look forward to working with Persimmon throughout 2009 and beyond."

The Crossings, situated close to the historic town of Stafford and superbly located near to the M6, offers great travel links to larger towns and cities such as Birmingham, Cannock and Crewe. The town of Stafford bustles with activity and each month a farmers market is held, making it a very friendly place to shop. The region is also renowned for its pottery with Spode, Wedgwood and Royal Doulton bringing prosperity and fame to the area. With Helping Hand shared equity, homes are currently priced from just £86,996.
