Sought after homes released early in Staffordshire

Sought after homes released early in Staffordshire The popularity of George Wimpey’s Farriers Keep development in Newcastle-Under-Lyme has prompted the leading housebuilder to release two new home designs ahead of schedule at its sought-after Staffordshire location.

New three-bedroom ‘Rothwell’ and two-bedroom ‘Aston’ homes are well-specified and attractively priced and are expected to be snapped up quickly by first-time buyers and property investors.

Daniel McGowan, Sales and Marketing Director for George Wimpey North Midlands, says: “Two and three-bedroom homes at Farriers Keep are extremely popular with staff at North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary and with parents looking to buy, rather than rent, for their children attending nearby Staffordshire University.

“The specifications and prices of the ‘Rothwell’ and ‘Aston’ is a winning combination and with our Deposit Match scheme available, they are more affordable than ever.”

Using Deposit Match, if buyers can put down a deposit of up to 5% of the purchase price, George Wimpey will match the amount, giving buyers access to a wider choice of mortgages.

Adds Daniel: “We appreciate that most mortgage lenders now require higher deposits than they have in previous years, so Deposit Match gives our customers the chance to secure a new home now, so that they don’t have to save up for months, or even years.”

The ‘Rothwell’ is available priced from £149,995 and comprises a fitted kitchen, spacious lounge with French doors leading to a private garden and cloakroom. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with fitted wardrobes, two further bedrooms and a family bathroom.

The ‘Aston’, priced from £134,995 makes a good use of space, with a light and airy lounge with double doors to the rear, fitted kitchen, cloakroom, master bedroom with fitted wardrobes, second bedroom and family bathroom.

As well as Deposit Match, George Wimpey offers a range of deals tailor-made for all types of buyers, including assistance with deposit and legal fees for first-time buyers.

For those with a property to sell, Easymover is a package of incentives which takes away much of the time and effort of marketing an old house, and includes payment of estate agency fees, free home removals, free financial advice and a contribution towards legal fees.

More information is available from the Sales Executive at the development.

Farriers Keep is situated to the west of Newcastle-under-Lyme town centre, within easy reach of variety of local amenities including a shopping centre and a golf club.

Newcastle-under-Lyme is home to a wide choice of leisure amenities, health facilities, schools and nurseries, while Stoke-on-Trent, which offers a vast array of bars, restaurants, theatres and nightlife, is just a 10-minute drive from the development.

Commuters will also appreciate that the M6 motorway is just a short drive away, putting Manchester and Birmingham within easy reach.
