Family fun at Burgess Brook

Family fun at Burgess Brook With the school holidays looming, leading homebuilder David Wilson Mercia offered homebuyers a different way to entertain the children, with an open house event at its Burgess Brook development on Keele Road in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

The event was hugely popular as it not only allowed homebuyers to look around the stunning new showhome which was recently opened to the public, but also helped parents to keep the kids entertained with a circus act and lessons in circus skills.

Carole Ashworth, Sales Manager for David Wilson Mercia commented, “This time every year, parents start to worry about how they are going to keep their little ones entertained over the long summer period. This was, therefore, the perfect way to keep the kids happy for the day while leaving mum and dad free to find their ideal family home at our new development.”

Visitors to Burgess Brook were able to enjoy entertainment from a superb circus act where adults and children alike saw some super skills such as juggling, fire-breathing, tightrope and unicyling.

Carole continued, “From club swinging to stilt walking, the kids were kept busy with a range of entertainment from our very own circus act, leaving the adults free to take a look around the selection of homes available at Burgess Brook.

“Along with the circus entertainer, a selection of showhomes were also open for visitors to view. All of the view pieces were popular as they allowed homebuyers to see not only the latest trends in interior designs but also the high specification that all of our homes are built too.

“The day was a great success and it was fantastic to see all of the children having so much fun.”

Burgess Brook offers a selection of two-bedroom apartments and three- and four-bedroom homes available. Prices start from £97,950. For more information, see dwh.co.uk/burgessbrook.
