Reserve a new home in May for a special deal

If you do have a home to sell, Barratt could take it in part exchange - saving you all the hassle and uncertainty of trying to sell it yourself - and give you a useful £5,000 cashback as well.
The special deals also include free carpets and kitchen appliances, but must end this month, said Barratt Newcastle sales manager Steve Mariner.
"Headstart is a terrific scheme which makes a brand new home really affordable," he said. "It allows buyers to defer 15 per cent of the purchase price for up to ten years, so they pay a move-in price of just 85 per cent.
"Part exchange is also becoming scarcer in the current market and we're one of the few housebuilders still offering the service. Barratt is a guaranteed cash buyer so there's no hassle, no chains, no last-minute price haggling and no hidden costs.
"However we can only make these offers on selected homes and for reservations taken before 1 June, so my advice would be to get along to a development and find out what's available as quickly as possible."
The deals are available on developments across the North East, including The Carrs at Newbiggin-by-the-Sea; Melbury at Newcastle Great Park; The Hawthorns at Hebburn; and Windsor Court, Birtley.
