Americans on track will boost Birmingham Property

Simon Zutshi. Americans On Track Will Boost Birmingham Property The announcement earlier this week that the American Athletics Olympic team will be staying in Birmingham to conduct final training in Perry Barr before the games start in 2012, has sparked renewed interest in the UK’s second city.

Only recently a report has shown that the North West area of Birmingham has achieved the highest property value growth over the past ten years, an impressive 20%, more than any other part of the UK. Will this growth and attention mean that London investors turn their heads further north than Watford Gap and take note of what the region has to offer? Indeed, The Property Investor Show, whose London show has a tremendous reputation with exhibitors and visitors will travel up the motorway to make its first ever Midlands appearance at the NEC from March 23rd – March 25th, confirming the confidence that the show organisers and exhibitors have in the region.

Simon Zutshi, Midlands millionaire property Guru who will be holding a number of seminars at the show, commented on what this seemingly small announcement could mean for Birmingham. “The city has gone through and continues to enjoy massive regeneration, it now has so much to offer residents, businesses and investors alike. The American’s visit will not only refocus investors Olympic attention on the city of Birmingham which will obviously have a backlash effect on property prices, but also develop a greater inner pride for the people of the region.” He added, “the Olympics has caused an investment hotspot in the capital because of redevelopment and I believe that Londoners will take a more careful look outside of the metropolis, and in doing this I think they will see just how much this region has to offer. I’m also intrigued to see how the Midlands visitors differ from those to the London show.”

Simon’s four seminars at The Property Investor Show cover topics from how to get started in investing, to emerging markets and tips for buying off plan. Admission to the show is free but visitors need to pre-register online at propertyinvestor.co.uk/birmimgham. Seminar places are £5.00 per head.
