Miller proves three times lucky for couple

Miller proves three times lucky for couple Lots of people are loyal to certain housebuilders, but not many young families manage to live in three different homes by the same housebuilder before they reach 30 - as is the case for Kelly and Robert Betts and their family, who have just moved into their third Miller Home at Highfields Park in Derby.

To date Kelly and Robert have owned Miller Homes at Heatherton Village in Littleover, Radbourne Gate in Mickleover and have now moved into their four bedroomed Glenmuir home at Highfields Park with daughter Amelia, son Finlay and dog Snoopy – a location that Kelly has always wanted to get back to since first leaving home.

Nail salon owner Kelly and maintenance fitter Robert both work in Derby and so wanted a home that was centrally located, but this was just the tip of the iceberg as to why the development appealed so much to the couple, as Kelly explains:

“I grew up in this area and have always thought that I would move back to bring up my family here, but to date have never found the right house. We wanted to be close to our parents and grandparents and with Darley Park round the corner, it will be great for walking Snoopy and letting the children walk us!

“We were excited when we found out that Miller were building here as we have always lived in Miller Homes as we have found that they have always had the specification, location and living space design that best suits us – and that is especially important now that we are a growing family.”

Just minutes walk from the centre of Derby with its celebrated shops, bars, restaurants and cultural and historic treats – and Kelly’s nail salon, Nail Basics on The Wardwick - Highfields Park also offers easy access to the M1 motorway, the A6 and A38, and so is ideal for commuting to Nottingham, Chesterfield and Birmingham.

The development is also convenient for Nottingham East Midlands Airport and Derby Railway Station with its high-speed links to London and Edinburgh, and is less than a mile away from the picturesque Markeaton Park, Darley Park and the River Derwent.

Anyone who would like to find out more about properties at Highfields Park can visit the development any day of the week between 10.30am and 5.30pm or log on to Millerhomes.co.uk for further details.
