Quality is built in at Miller Homes

The awards recognise a variety of exceptional quality construction projects in the region, from good design teams to effective execution by construction teams.
Centro West, Miller Homes East Midlands' luxury waterside development in Derby city centre, triumphed in the ‘Best Large Housing Development' category at the event held at The Village Hotel, Nottingham.
The award was collected on the night by Miller Homes East Midlands' architect Richard White, managing director Andy Noton, and site manager Allan Marshall - who was also a regional winner at the National House Building Council's (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards in 2007 for his work at Centro West.
"We are delighted that Centro West has been awarded with such a prestigious accolade," explains Andy Noton.
"This is a great reward for the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in the development, and also testament to the superior build quality that Miller Homes prides itself on. We always knew that Centro West would rank as one of our most notable developments."
Situated off Agard Street in the heart of the city's historic quarter, Centro West is a development comprising two modern apartment complexes which offer an array of 51, 1 and 2-bedroomed apartments.
In a year of accolades for the housebuilder, this LABC recognition follows on from Miller Homes' highly coveted ‘Major Housebuilder of the Year' award, which it has won for the second year in succession, at the 2008 Building Awards.
