David Wilson Homes prove second to none

When Steve and Julie Dunkley started their hunt for a new home earlier this year, there was only one place they were going to go- back to David Wilson East Midlands.

Originally from Birmingham, the Dunkleys moved to Derbyshire to provide a better quality of life for their son James. In 2000 they part exchanged their old home for a three- bedroom detached house at David Wilson East Midlands Pastures development in Donisthorpe, and now eight years later they have part exchanged that house for a brand new home at the Castleton Park development in Church Gresley.

Steve says "We really loved our house in Donisthorpe, but I spend a lot more time working from home nowadays and with a growing 6'4" lad and lots of family visiting from Birmingham, we needed to move to a bigger property. When we made the decision to move we decided straight away that we were going to buy another David Wilson Home as the service we received from them last time was second to none. We considered other developers but quickly discounted them as the quality and finish just weren't up to the standards of a David Wilson home."

Steve, a 49 year old Engineering Contract Manager, and Julie, a 47 year old Family Support Worker, discovered the development whilst driving home from a shopping trip and upon entering were instantly impressed. Julie says "As soon as we saw the house we fell in love and we knew we had to have it. It's a fantastic, spacious property in a beautiful location and it was exactly what we were looking for. "

Coincidently, the Sales Negotiator at Castleton Park, Linda Gaymer, sold the Dunkleys their first David Wilson Home all those years ago.

Steve says "It was great seeing Linda again after all these years, and we couldn't have hoped for a better Sales Negotiator. She's been absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process and has literally bent over backwards to help us in any way she could. Although she's not based at this site anymore, she still rings us up to see how we're getting along and we think of her as more of a friend now than a sales negotiator."

Julie concludes "We love our new home to death and the aftercare we've received from David Wilson has been superb. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to all our family and friends."
