Brewers manager to give new home seal of approval
Miller Homes has a treat in store for all Burton Albion fans this week: the Housebuilder of the Year is inviting new Brewers’ manager, Roy McFarland down to its Hopwood development to launch the final Park View phase of the scheme with a new showhome.Once Roy gives the showhome his seal of approval with an official ribbon cutting ceremony, interested househunters will be invited to view the remaining properties during a special open weekend on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th January. As an extra incentive for local supporters, any househunters visiting the development this weekend will be entered into a free prize draw to win a new Burton Albion football shirt, signed by the team.
Sales director for Miller Homes in the West Midlands, Linda Androlia, said:
"Our new showhome really is superb and we can't wait to open the doors to the public. We are thrilled that Roy has agreed to be our guest of honour and look forward to welcoming him to Hopwood. Miller Homes is one of the official sponsors of Burton Albion Football Club and we are extremely proud to be supporting our local team."
The development is now three quarters sold and we've created a new entrance to make access to the remaining available homes even easier. Linda added: "We really have saved our best release of homes until last - the remaining properties at Hopwood have picturesque views of Eton Park and benefit from being to the rear of the development.
"The fresh new showhome, complete with stylish décor in warm bronze, brown and cream will give househunters the opportunity to really visualise how their own Miller home could look."
The ‘Brunel' showhome is a stunning three bedroom townhouse with a great living space, en-suite master bedroom and integral garage.
Linda added: "We are also able to offer our new MiWay shared equity scheme on select properties at Hopwood. MiWay gives buyers the chance to pay 75% now and 25% later, whilst still owning 100% of the property - which makes it much easier for first time buyers to get on the property ladder or for those who have sold to move up the ladder.
Hopwood is situated off Princess Way in Stretton, just a few minutes walk from Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium. The development is located on the main bus route and benefits from excellent transport links, with the motorway network easily accessible via the A38 and A50. A wealth of beautiful countryside is within easy reach of the scheme, including Derbyshire Peak District, Tutbury Castle and Staffordshire's Cannock Chase.
Prices start from £99,950 for a two bedroom apartment and houses range from £169,950 for a 3 bedroom Brunel design, to £229,950 for the four bedroom Chantry design.
