Derbyshire tenants encouraged to become buyers Tenants and prospective homeowners across Derbyshire are being encouraged to visit David Wilson East Midlands' Castle Heights development in Church Gresley to learn more about the housebuilder's Easy Start scheme because for the same price as renting, purchasers can now own their dream home.

Situated on Castle Road, Castle Heights is a stunning development comprising a wide range of one-, two-, three-, four- and five- bedroom homes and offers housing solutions for everyone from couples to families and downsizers alike.

One of the many financial incentives that the housebuilder is offering at the development is Easy Start, which allows buyers to purchase a property initially for just 75 per cent of the price.

Philip Lacey, Sales Director for David Wilson says "Easy Start is a fantastic scheme designed to ease the financial strain often associated with buying a new home and aims to help more prospective buyers get a foot on the ladder.

"With this initiative, buyers own 100 per cent of the property for just 75 per cent of the price and with prices starting from £79,950 for a one- bedroom apartment, home ownership can become a reality for an unbelievable £59,963.

"So if you're a prospective homeowner ready to bite the bullet, come down and speak to one of our experienced sales negotiators today to find out more about this fantastic scheme."

Easy Start is not a shared ownership scheme; homebuyers own 100 per cent of the property from day one. There is no rent or interest to pay on the deferred amount, it is simply paid back as 25 per cent of the property's open market value at any time up to the point of resale or within ten years, whichever is sooner.

Prices for a one- bedroom home at the development start from £79,950, therefore prices with Easy Start start from £59,963.
