In love with Hopping Mill Meadow

After a look around the stunning five bedroom show home Emma immediately put down a deposit on it, in spite of the fact that her partner Alex Wilson hadn’t seen the property as he was away on a stag weekend.
Emma, 30, said: “As soon as I arrived at Hopping Mill Meadow I knew that was where I wanted to live as it’s such a peaceful, beautiful location. Just hearing the sound of the weir made me relax and I was smitten before I’d even seen any of the properties. I fell in love with the show home straight away as it was in an excellent position, with views of the River Derwent and the valley, and of course it was beautifully designed and furnished.
“Our previous home was a two up, two down so I feel like a princess living here – it really is our five bedroom, three storey palace! There’s plenty of room for me, Alex and our cats Neo and Nina and for when our friends and family come to stay. Neo is especially happy here as he loves the amount of space and windows for him to watch the wildlife out of.”
Emma and Alex had been looking for a larger home for several months before buying at Hopping Mill Meadow and had put an offer in on a property around the corner from their previous home in Littleover.
Emma said: “We had a surveyor’s report done and there was so much work to do on it we decided to cut our losses and pull out. An estate agent in Belper recommended having a look at Hopping Mill Meadow. As well as being cheaper than the second hand property we made an offer on, the homes are so beautiful inside and out, are very spacious and they are in keeping with the local architecture. Looking back I can’t believe I made such a rash decision about buying a home when, without even getting Alex’s approval. However it was clearly meant to be as we love living here.”
Anne Wallace, regional sales and marketing director, said: “We’re delighted that Emma and Alex have found their dream home at Hopping Mill Meadow and aren’t surprised that this stunning development captured their hearts so quickly.
