Caledonia Homes Lesmahagow To coincide with the recent unveiling of a new three-bedroom ‘Owen’ showhome at its all-bungalow development, ‘Hillpark Gardens’, Lesmahagow in South Lanarkshire, Caledonia Homes’ has released the final four properties for sale.

Like the new showhome, all four bungalows on the final release have a distinct 1930’s influence in the form of traditional features reminiscent of the era, a style now synonymous with Caledonia. These features include bay windows, wide hallways and traditional chimneys.

The new showhome, which has been typically decked out Caledonia style, with carpets, curtains, fixtures and fittings, has lead to high levels of interest, says Caroline McMurdo, sales and marketing director of the company: “We have enjoyed a constant demand for our 1930’s style bungalows at Hillpark Gardens and having now just opened our showhome, we already have clients asking when this too will be up for sale.”

In the final release, homebuyers can choose from two, three-bedroom Owen bungalows, a three-bedroom ‘Simpson’ design and a three-bedroom ‘Balbardie’, one of Caledonia’s most favoured bungalow styles. Prices start from only £155,000 for the ‘Simpson’ house style

Every bungalow comes complete with an en suite off the master bedroom, a bright and airy lounge, with bay window and a well equipped kitchen, with either an adjoining breakfasting, dining or family area. The Balbardie is further enhanced with a conservatory style family room off the kitchen/dining area – adding a sunny dimension to this large property.

With an elevated location, residents at Hillpark Gardens are able to enjoy attractive views over the surrounding countryside. Local amenities are readily available with two primary schools, a secondary school, resource centre, post office, library and village shops nearby.

The market town of Strathaven is only 12 miles away, where residents can take advantage of the unique range of shops, visit one of the many tearooms and soak up the atmosphere.

For those who commute, Lesmahagow is very well placed, with Glasgow and Hamilton easily accessible via the nearby M74. There is a train station in nearby Hamilton providing a service every half hour to Glasgow.
