Stunning new show homes in Heather Lea The stunning new show homes at Redrow’s Heather Lea development in Lanark show off the ideal lifestyle for the modern family. The popular development has a range of properties on offer from bungalows to five-bedroom houses.

The Webburn show home, a five-bedroom property with the living space cleverly arranged over three floors, is now open for home hunters to sample a taste of life at Heather Lea.

And for those who are looking for a more traditional property there is the two-storey detached four-bedroom Severn.

Diana Newton, sales director for Redrow Scotland says: “Heather Lea is a beautiful development, which is attracting both local people and newcomers moving to the area to take advantage of the semi-rural lifestyle.

“With such a variety of houses, from one-storey to three floors and from three-bedrooms to five, there really is something to suit all tastes. And the development is proving popular with people from all walks of life from young couples to retired people and everything in between.”

The Webburn is a stunning home perfect for busy families and the show home has been decorated to create the “wow” factor.

Ideal for a professional couple with older children or teenagers, this house offers plenty of space and two of the bedrooms and a shower room are situated in a ‘ready made loft conversion’ on the second floor.

The show home highlights how this extra space would make the perfect teenage den with one of the bedrooms decorated for a teenage boy – including a drum kit - and the other kitted out as a games room, with a pool table and has been dressed as a bedroom with a teenage boy in mind.

The ground floor houses a lounge, dining room and kitchen, as well as a family room, which has been decorated with comfort in mind.

The lounge also follows this theme with sumptuous sofas and accents of chocolate brown and teal blue, while the dining room is formal yet stylish.

Moving up to the first floor the master bedroom, which has an en-suite, is very much about opulence and luxury, featuring a four poster bed, while bedroom two offers a smart guest room and bedroom three has been decorated with children in mind.

Diana said: “Heather Lea is already developing into a vibrant community and the development has very much a village feel to it.

“This is a perfect location for families, either local people moving up the property ladder for more space, or those looking to relocate from the cities for a better quality of life.”

The Severn is a modern contemporary family home and the show home is decorated in warm neutral colours of white, creams, beige and light taupe, with flashes of orange throughout.

The furniture is mainly oak and white finishes, which follows on in the kitchen and also the fitted wardrobes in both the master bedroom and second bedroom.

On the ground floor there is a lounge, separate dining room, kitchen with utility room, and cloakroom.

And an added bonus is a study, just off the hallway, giving householders a haven for those quieter moments.

Moving upstairs there is the sumptuous master bedroom, while the remaining bedrooms are decorated to highlight the versatility of this house – one as a room for visitors, while the other two revert back to the family theme.

Heather Lea is set in a beautiful semi-rural area, situated between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Within walking distance of Lanark town centre it is also convenient for the motorway network and there are excellent train services.

And there is plenty to do in your spare time as well with wide choice of golf clubs in the area, and a leisure centre in town as well as plenty of opportunities for countryside walks and fishing.
