An escape from renting with MiWay With Miller Homes ever popular MiWay incentive currently available at Colville Wynd, potential buyers in Carfin are sure to ask “Why rent when you can buy’ for only £110.32 a week.

Based on the current starting price of £107,000, first time buyers looking to stop frittering away their money on high rental costs, can now secure a two-bedroom apartment at the development for only £80,250 with MiWay. Under this scheme the weekly cost of a 25 year repayment mortgage at 4% APR is approximately £110.32*.

“Most people rent because they don’t believe they can afford to buy, but with our MiWay scheme offering the ideal starting price for first-time buyers, now is the perfect time for renters to make the move to become home owners,” said Anne Marie Britton, sales director of Miller Homes (Scotland) Ltd.

Under MiWay, buyers have the opportunity to pay just 75% of the house price, whilst still owning 100% of the property from the outset. This way, Miller Homes effectively provides a 0% APR loan to make up the other 25% of the price, with buyers paying nothing on this loan for up to 10 years. After 10 years, or when the property is sold or transferred by the buyer, they simply pay back the 25% of the home’s market value at that time.

Situated off Carfin Street, Colville Wynd brings a prestigious choice of 48 beautifully presented two-bedroom apartments to the vibrant North Lanarkshire suburb of Carfin, which offers exceptionally convenient base for commuting to both Glasgow and the whole of the central belt.

Each apartment includes a well-planned lounge and separate fully fitted dining kitchen, complete with stainless steel oven, hob, cooker hood and splash back. All bathrooms and en-suites are finished in stylish sanitary ware, and master-bedrooms come with the added convenience of an en-suite. An allocated parking is also provided with each property.

For those purchasers who don’t take up the MiWay offer at Colville Wynd, they have the option of Miller Homes’ latest package, easyreach, which allows buyers to reserve a property for only £99. In addition, Miller Homes is also offering a £500 mortgage subsidy for six months as part of the initiative, as well as £500 towards solicitors fees, survey fees and stamp duty paid, and even carpets throughout, ensuring that a new home is now within ‘easy reach’ for a range of house-hunters.
