Highfield Manor gets a summer makeover Celebrating summer in style, the former Nairn view home at Miller Homes’ Highfield Manor development in East Kilbride has been upgraded to showhome status, following a stylish interior design makeover.

Joining the three-bedroom Tamar and four-bedroom Hughes, to create a trio of show properties, the Nairn further highlights the space and quality on offer at Highfield Manor.

Anne Marie Britton, sales director of Miller Homes (Scotland) Ltd, comments: “The Nairn proved to be a popular viewhome with many visitors commenting on how good it would look when furnished. We decided to take this suggestion on board and gave the home a summer makeover to really show off the potential of this attractive house style. Colourful interiors and stylish accessories have brought the property’s unique character to life, allowing buyers to see the benefit of modern living not only within a Nairn, but also at Highfield Manor.”

With 2,326 sq ft of space, the Nairn is truly accommodating and presents a home which offers a dynamic layout, ideal for a large or growing family.

The property’s charm is as appealing as its ample features, with this two and a half storey home offering plenty of flexibility to ensure that all the family is well and truly catered for. The extra ‘half’ storey not only provides more room, but also gives the property a really unique look and feel.

On entering the Nairn, viewers are greeted by a long welcoming hallway, which leads into a spacious lounge, with an attractive bay window. The lounge, like the rest of this home, oozes sophisticated elegance, with contemporary white settees and chairs, setting the scene. A warm wood sideboard, colourful artwork and striking rouge scatter cushions and matching window dressing, provide an injection of colour, while added touches such as stylish lighting and accessories, give this room a modern edge.

This luxurious feel is carried through to the dining room, where the dining table is exquisitely dressed for dinner. A bright and fresh ambience is created by the white and silver chairs and glass table, while the fashionable accessories and modern artwork complete the look.

To the rear of the property there is a large open-plan breakfasting kitchen, with patio doors leading out to the back garden. A contemporary design combined with practicality is the key theme in the kitchen, which features an integrated fridge freezer and attractive stainless steel appliances, including electric oven, hob and hood.

Moving up a level to the first floor, is a well-appointed family bathroom and three bedrooms, the master being an extremely spacious bedroom with en-suite shower room, double wardrobes and attractive dormer window. Classic and charming, the master bedroom is a elegant space, which boasts an attractive solid oak four poster bed; this is enlivened by a fusion of soft cream, orange and sage green tones of the bed linen.

Adding to the convenience factor of this home is the second bedroom, which has an en-suite shower room, fitted wardrobes and the added luxury of a dressing area. With soft green and brown tones, foliage pattern and crisp white linen, this room is a natural delight, while bedroom three is pretty in pink, presenting a room that is sure to impress any little girl.

The second ‘half storey’ is taken up with the fourth bedroom, featuring yet another en-suite shower room. Offering the ideal space for any teenager or a striking guest room, this generously proportioned room further showcases the elegance of this home, with velvet blue bed throw and scatter cushions dressing the arresting oak bed and complementing the matching rich wood bedroom furniture. A sofa creates a chill out area within this space, further highlighting the flexibility of this room.

A downstairs shower room, handy utility room, ample storage and a spacious double integral garage for the family cars are further thoughtful touches that add to this home’s appeal.

Situated in the popular ‘Lindsayfield’ area of the town, surrounded by rolling countryside, Highfield Manor offers an unrivalled choice of new build homes to suite the taste of a range of potential buyers, comprising of a select mix of three, four and five bedrooms.

Prices at Highfield Manor are currently released from £174,000 with excellent incentives available on selected plots.
