Affordability hots up this summer with Miller Homes Things are certainly ‘hotting up’ this summer at Miller Homes’ Victoria Park Gardens development. Thanks to a superb choice of three-bedroom homes available from only £134,500, these hot properties are currently among some of the most affordable new homes in Airdrie.

Three-bedroom homes are proving much sought after as the ideal step-up for the young family buyer, due to the highly competitive pricing of these properties coupled with Miller Homes’ renowned specification and well-planned layouts.

Anne Marie Britton, sales director for Miller Homes Scotland said, “In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for three-bedroom properties, which is why we have introduced a range of these house types at several of our developments.

“Airdrie continues to be a burgeoning market for new homes, as its highly accessible location and great amenities mean local buyers are eager to stay within their home town, while many young families are also keen to move to the area, further creating a need for new homes. Buyers at Victoria Park Gardens currently have the opportunity of purchasing several of our three bedroom properties with our MIWay incentive, which continues to give so many of our customers an added sense of security and greater peace of mind.”

The development, which is Miller Homes’ first in Airdrie, provides a substantial choice of homes ranging from two-bedroom semi-detached properties to five-bedroom detached villas. Several of the three-bedroom properties are catching the eye of discerning buyers, particularly the Tamar, as it currently benefits from MiWay.

A welcoming and comfortable home, the three-bedroom Tamar is designed to offer optimum living space and style. Attention to detail and quality runs throughout this home, including a broad lounge and dining area, with French doors leading out to the garden, perfect for after-dinner drinks to watch the sunset. Available from only £179,000, the Tamar costs just £134,250 with MiWay.

In the three-bedroom Carron, the lounge offers a light and airy ambience, which allows residents to enjoy their garden to the full, ideal in what is anticipated to be one of Scotland’s warmest summers for a number of years. This comfortable family home also has the advantage of en-suite facilities to the master-bedroom and with plenty of storage space, including built-in wardrobes in two of the bedrooms, the Carron fuses practicality with modern design elements. The Carron is priced at £185,000.

Equally impressive is the three-bedroom Irvine, with its distinctive pillared porch that leads into a beautifully presented family home. The traditional appeal of this property is evident in the large kitchen, with its adjoining family area that opens out to the garden. The Irvine is available from £180,000.

Situated off Cairnhill Road and just a short walk from the lively town centre of Airdrie, Victoria Park Gardens is ideally positioned for all the family. From schooling to shopping, there’s something for everyone including nearby Strathclyde Country Park, offering plenty of opportunities to keep the children busy during the summer holidays. In addition to this, excellent road links, allowing easy access across the central belt and beyond, ensure that Scotland’s largest cities, Glasgow and Edinburgh, are both an easy commute away.

MiWay is perfect for those struggling to find a mortgage in the current climate, as buyers are given the opportunity to pay ‘75% now, 25% later’. Miller Homes essentially provides its purchasers with an interest free loan to make up the remaining 25% of the home price, allowing buyers to shop around for a smaller mortgage. With MiWay, buyers own 100% of their property from the outset, and the loan from Miller Homes is only payable after ten years or when the property is sold, whichever comes first, with the owner simply paying back 25% of their home’s market value at that time.

In addition to the Tamar, the grand four-bedroom detached Glenmuir at Victoria Park Gardens also benefits from MiWay, which means a price reduction from £217,000 to only £162,750.
