Severn showhome makes its debut

Severn showhome makes its debut Just ahead of the glitz and glamour of Oscars night, Miller Homes has unveiled its very own star attraction at its new ‘Leven Gait’ development in Kelty, Fife.

Commanding a prime and elevated position within the development, the impressive four-bedroom ‘Severn’ showhome is already taking a leading role, impressing housebuyers and visitors alike with its many star qualities.

On entry to this substantial family home, a large entrance hall provides the perfect area to greet guests for an after-show party.

An Out of Africa-inspired lounge, complete with two large, chocolate suede sofas, would make the perfect room for families to sit down together to watch a movie. From here, there are great interior aspects, in the form of two matching mirror arrangements while a traditional teak fireplace and large bay windows add to the ‘cosy family home’ look.

To the back of the lounge and with patio doors to the garden, is the bright and sunny, family snug room. Here, the children could entertain their friends, dad could get some work done in peace, or it could simply be used by mum for a well earned and relaxing break, watching her favourite weepie!

Across the hallway (big enough to roll out the red carpet) is the well designed and fully-fitted kitchen. Here, there is plenty of space to whip up a delicacy and have informal meals with friends. The décor is ‘très chic’ with pearlescent, mosaic wall tiles by Porcelanosa, finely complemented by a dark brown feature wall.

Next door is a very convenient utility room which will play its part in keeping the home tidy and free of clutter. Ironing can be stored here, as well as wellington boots for when the children come in from the garden. In addition, it could simply be used as storage space for those every day kitchen appliances that would be preferred to be kept out of sight.

Upstairs, the master, with its tranquil and luxurious décor, makes the perfect boudoir for budding starlets or leading ladies. Faux fur and natural tones, coupled with the spectacular views to the surrounding hills, ensure this room is a haven of relaxation, while the en suite with double shower (no less), means twice the fun at half the cost!

A further three bedrooms on this floor will have the kids arguing over which one is theirs. As a suggestion, bedroom three, with its aqua and chalky white colour scheme, would be perfect for the boys while bedroom two, with its en suite and sunny bay windows, is ideal for teenagers who need that all important privacy.

Anne Marie Britton, sales director for Miller Homes (Scotland East Region) comments: “You don’t have to be an Oscar winner to live like a star in Kelty. All the properties at Leven Gait, come complete with Miller Homes’ renowned interior specification and offer great value for money.”

As well as the show-stopping Severn, homebuyers at Leven Gait can also look round a new three-bedroom viewhome, which has been minimally dressed with curtains, carpets and fittings, to enable buyers to envisage their new home life with their own possessions in place.

Located off the Great North Road on the eastern edge of Kelty, residents of Leven Gait will have every amenity very close by. Local shops are nearby, while regular bus services bring Cowdenbeath and Dunfermline within easy reach.

Kelty has its own primary school, chemist, post office and general store. There is a gym and cinema nearby, as well as an abundance of high street stores, bars, restaurants and supermarkets in the neighbouring towns.

Lochore Meadows, one of the region’s leading outdoor and environmental centres, is a short walk from the development and provides many outdoor activities such as windsurfing, golfing, fishing, horse riding and an adventure play area.

Prices at Leven Gait start from £178,500 for a four-bedroom ‘Tees’.

To view the showhome, visit the sales and marketing suite at the development, which is open daily, between 11.00am and 6.00pm. Alternatively, for more details, visit the website Millerhomes.co.uk.
