Fun for Dunfermline home hunters at family ‘Wii’-kend Redrow is injecting some fun into househunting with a weekend spectacular at Middlebank Rise in Dunfermline, where youngsters will get the chance to win a popular Nintendo Wii games console.

The fun event will run on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 March from 12noon to 4pm and there will be plenty of entertainment on offer to get visitors into the spirit of the Easter holiday.

There will be the chance to sample tasty treats from the barbecue and mum can take advantage of a pampering session, while those who are feeling brave can take a vertical trip in the Redrow hot air balloon, which will be offering tethered rides, weather permitting.

And of course there will be the opportunity to enter the Wii prize draw.

Diana Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (Scotland) says: “Middlebank Rise is the perfect development for families, with a range of spacious homes and a semi-rural feel to it.

“Searching for a new home can be difficult for a busy modern family so we wanted to put the fun back into house hunting with this open weekend, which will allow people to view our stunning show homes and get a feel for the development, while enjoying the Easter break.”

The development in Aberdour Road features a wide selection of one and two-bedroom apartments and three, four and five-bedroom terraced, semi and detached houses, in a landscaped setting on the edge of Dunfermline.

Diana added: “The choice of homes on offer at Middlebank Rise means that there really is something to suit all tastes. The development has proved popular with families but young professionals, couples and downsizers can also find their perfect home here.”

And it is not just stylish homes that are on offer, the outside environment has been thought of too, with Redrow creating managed parkland including woodland, footpaths, cycle ways and play areas in the neighbouring Pinkerton Valley.

Current prices are from just £128,995 for a two-bedroom Argal apartment, while houses are available from £132,995 for a two-bedroom terraced property. The top price is £380,000 for a five-bedroom Blenheim.

Middlebank Rise is part of Dunfermline’s flourishing Eastern Expansion Area and its growing range of amenities, while the town centre is just a short drive away.

It has a semi-rural feel yet is close to the motorway network and just a few minutes drive from Inverkeithing railway station, offering services to Edinburgh and Aberdeen. There are regular bus services in the area and further opportunities to commute to Edinburgh via the Forth road bridge.

The development, which has several fully-furnished show homes, is open daily from 10am to 5.30pm. To find out more log on to Redrow.co.uk.
