Homebuyers are flying high after family "Wii-kend"

Homebuyers are flying high after family "Wii-kend" With the wide range of properties on offer at Middlebank Rise and the fantastic location everyone is a winner, but two homehunters in particular had plenty to celebrate when they attended a family fun weekend at the Dunfermline development.

Nicki Pilkington and Sandra Mann both scooped fantastic prizes in a prize draw held as part of the celebrations.

Mum-of-two Nicki bagged a popular Wii games console, while Sandra is set to reach dizzy new heights with a ride in a hot air balloon.

"It was a bit of luck, so it was a nice surprise," says Nicki, "it was great for the children to win the console and they have been enjoying playing on it."

Nicki, husband Darren, and children Chloe, eight, and Lewis, six, have recently moved into a new four-bedroom house at Middlebank Rise, after relocating from Morecambe, Lancashire.

Nicki said: "We really like it here and it's good for the children, as there is plenty of open space and it is so convenient for everywhere.

"We moved here with Darren's job but I am from Scotland originally so it was like coming home for me.

"The house is lovely and very spacious and I work from home as a wedding card designer, so I have got an office at home, which makes life easier."

Sandra Mann, meanwhile, is flying high after winning her prize. "I am looking forward to it as I have always wanted a ride in a hot air balloon," she says.

Sandra, 58, is originally from Scotland but has lived all over the UK. She has bought a three-bedroom property at Middlebank Rise, close to friends and family.

She said: "I have lived in England for most of my life but my late husband and I always said that we would move back to Scotland and this is a wonderful development.

"We lived all over the place and my children all live in England - my daughter in Birmingham, one son in Grimsby and the other in Hull but I have got lots of relatives up here.

"Middlebank Rise is in the perfect location, it is convenient for the motorway network but it is also near the countryside and even the beach; and I just loved the style of the house."

Current availability includes three, four and five-bedroom houses with prices from just £165,000 to £380,000; with a limited number of new homes available to move into for summer and a choice of incentives on selected plots as part of Redrow's ‘re:assure' package.
