Couple return for seconds with Redrow

Couple return for seconds with Redrow Michelle Lydiate and Phil Howard were so impressed with Redrow’s service the first time around they looked no further than the award winning housebuilder when upgrading to a larger home in Dunfermline.

Previously living in a three-bedroom property at Redrow’s Masterton Park, Michelle, 35, and Phil, 44, both business analysts, decided it was time to gain a little extra space.

So staying with the tried and tested developer, the couple part-exchanged their property for Redrow’s four-bedroom detached Welford showhome at nearby Middlebank Rise.

They are now happily settled and delighted once again with the service received from Redrow.

Michelle said: “We decided to move with Redrow for the second time due to the positive experience we had first time around. What more could you ask for than a quality home in a fantastic location, good customer care and a reasonable price?

“Our new home is fantastic and beautifully finished. Having two en-suites is great and the property is very spacious. Also, the development is nicely spaced out and convenient for Fife’s coastal route.

“Redrow have been so helpful and being able to part-exchange was fantastic as it eliminated having to wait frustratingly to find our own buyer. You can’t beat buying a new home as you don’t have to worry about any costly upkeep or renovations and I think now is a great time to buy due to lower house prices and mortgage rates.”

Diana Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (Scotland), says: “So many people look around our show homes and say ‘I could easily live here’ and it’s great that Michelle and Phil have actually made the move.

“Part-exchange is perfect for people who want to move right away, but are being held back by their current house. We act effectively as a ‘cash buyer’ and take any hassle out of their hands, so they can concentrate on their all-new Redrow home.

“They will also enjoy all the other benefits that come with owning a new home such as improved energy efficiency and cheaper running costs, no costly renovations or upkeep and no living with a previous owner’s decorating disasters.”

Situated off Aberdour Road in Dunfermline’s popular Eastern Expansion Area, Middlebank Rise features a mix of three, four and five-bedroom homes with current prices from £164,995 to £232,500. As well as being a short drive from Dunfermline town centre, it’s also within easy reach of the Fife countryside and coastal areas, while Dunfermline and Inverkeithing railway stations offer access to Edinburgh city centre within 35 minutes or less.
